Hence, we are offering you manufacturing and design services
Electrode Discharge Machining (EDM) is a metal fabrication process whereby a desired shape is obtained by using electrical discharges (sparks).Material is removed from the work piece by a series of rapidly recurring current discharges between two electrodes, separated by a dielectric liquid and subject to an electric voltage. One of the electrodes is called the electrode, while the other is called the work piece. The process depends upon the tool and work piece not making physical contact.
Our 20 years of experience in injection molding has helped us create complex settings in EDM. Any shape, any material, any location can be EDM machined.
Our in-house design team will help you design the desired electrode and machine it. Hence, we can save time, effort and money.
There are two most common technology used in 3D printing.
One is Filament type known as fused deposition modeling (FDM). In this technology, plastic in the form of filament is fed to a extruder. This extruder is mounted on linear guideways capable of moving in X, Y & Z axis. These guideway motors are user programmed. First a single layer is printed, on the top another layer gets printed thus giving shape to the 3D object.
The second common type is Resin type known as Stereolithography (SLA). It is an additive manufacturing process that, in its most common form, works by focusing an ultraviolet (UV) laser on to a vat of photopolymer resin. With the help of computer aided manufacturing or computer-aided design (CAM/CAD) software, the UV laser is used to draw a pre-programmed design or shape on to the surface of the photopolymer vat. Photopolymers are sensitive to ultraviolet light, so the resin is photochemically solidified and forms a single layer of the desired 3D object. Then, the build platform lowers one layer and a blade recoats the top of the tank with resin. This process is repeated for each layer of the design until the 3D object is complete. Completed parts must be washed with a solvent to clean wet resin from their surfaces.
While all the physical parts are made my physical machine, design is unique. It is made not just with our skill but also our passion and soul.
3D design has helped us visualize and explain our imaginations to the world. Any manufacturing starts from design. Design can be in the form of simple hand sketch or complex 3D design. All CNC & 3D printer machines require 3D design to start with.
